When I started GreenScope, Inc., my goal was to provide live plants in the workspace. I figured that everyone loves plants but no one likes to take care of them. I soon realized that plants provided much more than their aesthetic value. Studies done by NASA proved that plants not only provide oxygen but actually clean the air by taking many impurities out of the air we breath. In todays office environments there are many causes of poor air quality. Outdated or weak HVAC systems, carpet adhesives, cleaning supplies and furniture materials to name a few.  I would never claim that plants will remove all impurities from the air but they most certainly help. And, lets face it, they look good!!
